My Approach

Collaborative

I believe in the power of partnership to strengthen HR and people operations. As an extension of your team, I immerse myself in your organization's culture and goals - working closely with leadership to implement practical solutions that support strong teams, effective systems, and a workplace environment where people can do their best work.

Tailored

Every school and nonprofit I work with is at a different stage - some are building HR infrastructure for the first time, others have systems in place but need a steadier hand. I take a tailored approach to make sure every solution fits your culture and goals, refining policies, procedures, and systems so that your HR operations align with your mission and support long-term success.

Experienced

I hold a SHRM-CP certification and a HR Management Certificate from the University of Washington - and beyond credentials, I bring hands-on experience across the full HR function. Compensation analysis, employee relations, leave administration, compliance, and building people systems from scratch - I've done the work at both the organizational and the individual level, in nonprofits and independent schools, and I bring that depth into every engagement.

  • We’ll start with a free consultation to understand your school’s HR needs and see how we can best collaborate to strengthen your teams, systems, and workplace culture.

  • Pricing depends on the scope of your HR project and your school’s priorities. I promise fair, transparent rates and will always get your approval before we begin any work.

  • Timelines vary depending on the project. Typically, I dedicate several weeks to each engagement, with the flexibility to extend support based on your school’s needs and my availability.

  • That's often where I do my best work. I can come in and build from the ground up - policies, handbooks, job structures, onboarding processes - so your school has a foundation that actually holds as you grow.

  • It depends on what you need, but typically I'm embedded enough to be a real resource - attending relevant meetings, responding to leadership questions, producing documents and communications, and keeping things moving.
